CATURDAYS NYC - About Us

The beloved Fatty.

CATURDAYS was started by a design duo in the winter of 2011. We're both fashion designers by trade here in New York, using our skills to create the first series of shirts. A homage to vintage concert designs, they were originally given out as Christmas gifts to fellow cat loving friends. Not long after, we started getting e-mails and Facebook messages from friends of friends asking if they could buy some too.

So we decided to print some more, and then found ourselves brainstorming and sketching more shirts. This is when we realized we were designing a full collection! Thus, CATURDAYS was born!

Everything is done by hand, from the sketching to shipping, from our little apartment in Brooklyn.

About the Designers

Peter studied Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in NY and, for the past 4 years has been working as a menswear designer.

Sheena studied Product Development at The University of Cincinnati, and designs childrenswear.
